THE DIFFERENT STAGES OF THE PROJECT

Firstly i collected macro pictures and i used i movie to make a sequence. Although i put transition between the photographs i needed much more pictures to make a proper film. I figured out i had to do the same for the drawings and also to be careful of the quality of the picture. Indeed the light had to be powerfull and always the same. So I began to take much more pictures of the nature. I also had some videos i wanted to add and i realized the more material i had the easier the setting up was. Furthermore i wanted the video to stick to the beat of the music so i had to have a wider choice. At the begining, when i started to draw i inspired myself from the music (what it evokes to me, the rythm, the beat). Then i incorporated them in my film and i realized the transition between the drawings and the pictures wasn't going as well as i wanted. From that point i started to think about the link between the drawings and the pictures. Once i had enough material, which was about 300 items, i began setting up the final clip!!!

Making the film...
My work was to stick to the beat. It was very difficult to follow the music all the time. I asked myself if i should put the same sample of image for the chorus. As it came to often and i had a lot of material i gave up this idea...but i decided to put video of nature (in a windy day) as a "jingle",and i think it goes well with the music, it's a kind of lull...I explored the different effects and transitions which i can use to be the more efficient with the music. My bigest problem was to come back on parts i have already done. In deed, when i've done most of it, i decided to change few things and my entire project didn't stick anymore to the beat!!!so i had to try to make it as best as i could...But i really wanted to know how i can save part of the clip...
